Bio-Filmography


Born in Isfahan in 1976, Mokhtar Abdollahi is a graduate of Scriptwriting (BA). He is best known for his short story collection, “SEVEN” (2009), and his novel, “CUBIC MAN” (2012). In 2021, he made his debut feature film, BETWEEN THE CLIFFS, and entered the national competition section in Isfahan Children’s Film Festival, when the post production stages of the film were not completed and it was marked as a work in progress – however the film won Grand Prix and the Best Child Actress Award in the event.

It’s not important where you are living, what you are doing and how old you are… what’s important is that under any circumstance you are, you understand the true meaning of life so you can fight to reach your ideals… Because the biggest betrayal to yourself is betraying your dreams and that means not fighting to reach them… To reach or not to reach… That’s not important.
